The Lounge team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Manchester at the Trafford Centre.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about customer service and excited to help bring Lounge to life in store. This is a key role within our store leadership team, supporting the day-to-day running of the store while helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience and build a strong in-store community.
You will play an important part in maintaining the close community we have built online, now brought to life in person. From customer fittings and store standards to stock management and team support, you will help ensure that every customer interaction reflects the Lounge brand.
We are looking for someone who can bring their own skills, ideas, and experience, while working collaboratively with the wider retail team to build an enthusiastic, supportive, and customer-focused store culture.
What you will do at Lounge:
Work closely with the Store Manager and wider leadership team to support and guide a team of Sales Assistants, leading with a customer-first approach.
Help create an in-store environment that reflects Lounge brand values and delivers an exceptional customer experience.
Support with resolving customer queries and issues in a professional, positive, and efficient way.
Lead by example, showing passion for the Lounge brand and championing our values at all times.
Support the Store Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and training, helping new team members become confident and valued members of the team.
Help maintain accurate inventory levels and support effective stock management processes across the store.
Work with the Store Manager and Supervisors to implement inventory control measures, including cycle counts, audits, and stock replenishment strategies.
Support the monitoring of key performance indicators, including sales and customer satisfaction, to help drive informed decisions and continuous improvement.
Work as a trained bra fitter, delivering a high level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail for every customer.
Support the training and development of the wider team to help maintain excellent fitting and service standards.
We would love it if you:
Have at least 2 years’ experience working in a supervisory role within a retail environment.
Have experience leading and motivating teams.
Have strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire others.
Have an understanding of visual merchandising.
Are an effective problem-solver with strong decision-making skills.
Can communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels.
Are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Have a good understanding of current retail trends and best practice.

Availability:
You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and other non-standard trading hours.
