Role: Temporary Store Supervisor

Contract: Temporary, fixed-term

This is a temporary position to support our Cardiff store during a busy trading period.

As a Temporary Store Supervisor, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the store, helping to lead the team and ensuring our customers receive the very best Lounge experience.

We want you to bring your own skills, ideas and experience whilst working collaboratively with our retail team to create an enthusiastic, supportive and dedicated store environment, keeping our customers and the Lounge community at the heart of everything we do.

What you will do at Lounge:

• Work closely with the Head of Store and other supervisors to lead and support a team of Store Assistants, providing guidance and maintaining a customer-centric approach.

• Work with the wider store team to respond to customer queries, resolve issues and create an in-store experience that reflects Lounge's values.

• Lead by example, showing passion for our brand and championing Lounge's values.

• Support the Head of Store with recruitment, onboarding and training, helping new team members settle in and develop their skills.

• Help maintain accurate stock levels, inventory records and stock counts.

• Work with the Head of Store and other supervisors to support inventory management, including stock replenishment, cycle counts and audits.

• Support the Head of Store in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales performance and customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Provide professional bra-fitting services following training, whilst supporting other team members to develop their fitting skills.

• Help maintain high store standards, ensuring the store remains welcoming, organised and ready for our customers.
  

We would love it if you:

• Have previous experience working as a supervisor in a retail environment, ideally around two years.

• Have experience supporting, motivating and leading a team.

• Have strong leadership skills and enjoy helping others develop.

• Have an understanding of visual merchandising and maintaining store standards.

• Are a confident problem-solver with good decision-making skills.

• Can communicate effectively with people at all levels.

• Are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

• Have an interest in current retail trends and best practices.

• Are adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
  

Eligibility:

• You must have the right to work in the UK. Appropriate right-to-work checks will be completed before employment begins.

• You must be able to work at our Cardiff store.
  

Availability:

You'll need to be flexible to work a rota that may include weekends, evenings and bank holidays, in line with the store's trading requirements.
